After owning a Toyota, three Honda, a Hyundai, an Acura, a Yamaha, two Suzukis..... I finally bought something American.
2003 Ford F-150. I opted for the v6 and rwd though.. Because it was a good deal.
Practically rust-free, which is pretty rare in Michigan. It has some nice wheels and tires on it too.
I don’t normally like stepsides, but this one was too clean to pass up.

The grey exterior and black wheels work really well.

Michigan? You’re right, that is clean for its age!
Stepsides are something that I’ve never wanted on a truck of my own. I’m just not willing to give up that extra bit of capacity. But I’ve known some who had such trucks, and I gotta admit that I did enjoy the feature while helping them move stuff.

I really only *need* a truck for getting my motorcycle to the track, so the reduced bed space is fine by me.

I had a V8 single cab 4x4 for a while. The fun I had in that thing.
My favourite generation of the F-150 by far.

Excellent truck. Stepside ext cabs are hard to find on that gen F-150.

How much did you pay for it?

Nice! My brother had almost the same truck as this one as his first truck 10 years ago, except his was a ‘98. Always liked that truck and ended up almost the same thing!

Yeah I like the styling a lot, it’s not too bro-truck but it has a nice unique look to it.

Got it for $3800

Beautiful truck! You don’t find them that clean often. Bonus with the V6, you can always do the Thunderbird Supercharger swap if you want more oomph!

That is a good price. How many miles?
I ask because people on here buy cars all the time and use terms like “Deal of the century” or “I practically stole it” on buys like a 2002 Civic for $3500 with 160,000 miles or a 1993 Ranger for $3000. These aren’t really bad deals, just not the “deal of the century”.
But you got a clean F-150 for $3800, that’s solid any day of the week.

Stepsides are curvy and styling. Enjoy!
